The Shark-Cub® family's Stealth series focuses on blacked-out blades and hardware. The 20CV steel blades have a DLC, or Diamond-Like Carbon, outer layer that provides a more stealthy, subdued finish. This molecularly-bonded surface treatment also increases hardness and abrasion resistance, and decreases friction. Because DLC is bonded to steel, rather than applied like traditional coatings, it is among the strongest and hardest finishes in the knife industry.

The stealthy blacked-out blades and hardware can be paired with either hard-anodized aluminum or G10 handles. Go with aluminum for sleek and smooth rigidity, or choose the textured G10 for it's slip-resistant practicality. Either way, the Shark-Cub® Stealth is engineered Performance First™ for work and everyday carry.

The Shark-Lock® mechanism is situated on the spine of the knife and operated with a ramp-like ‘fin.’ Opening the blade makes the spring-driven lock arm move up and then into a notch in the tang, situating it beneath a lock pin. This range of movement is noteworthy. It’s unique in that the locking mechanism moves forward and back while also moving up and down. This allows for a greater-sized blade tang, making a better mechanical advantage in a specific area. And because the drive spring that moves the locking element up into the locked position is contained within the locking arm itself, it won’t be subject to dirt and grime.
