The AD10 platform has achieved "timeless" status within the knife community. Originally designed and produced by Andrew Demko as a custom knife exclusively, Andrew wanted to make the AD10 more accessible, diversifying production strategies to offer many AD10 options at different prices. The model was so successful that it was additionally produced through partnerships with other knife companies.

Carrying an impressive pedigree and undergoing decades of refinement, the AD10 gives way to the AD10M. The AD10M is positioned as the pinnacle of AD10 evolution. The AD10M is built around Andrew Demko's most advanced lockback mechanism - the Rhino-Lock™.

Rhino-Lock™

The Rhino-Lock™ is the newest evolution of Demko-designed lockback locking mechanisms. It may look and act like the traditional lockback mechanism from your grandpa's fishing knife, but the Rhino-Lock™ locks the blade open using an entirely different engineering strategy. While traditional lockback mechanisms rely on the blade being held open under tension against the lock face, the Rhino-Lock™ design introduces an immovable stop pin between the lock and the blade, creating a much stronger knife that remains unyielding, even with years of wear and tear. Andrew Demko has a long history of designing, testing, abusing, and redesigning his own lockback mechanisms. All of his experience and passion has culminated in the creation of his best lockback yet - the Rhino-Lock™.
